Worker flung from lorry

A worker was flung from the back of a lorry after it collided with a car along East Coast Parkway near Marina Bay Sands at around 10.15pm on Tuesday.
It is understood that the man was not seriously hurt. Police said two lorry passengers and the driver of the car were taken conscious to the Singapore General Hospital.
It is unclear how the worker fell from the lorry which appeared to have a canopy and high railings - requirements in line with rules introduced in 2011 to improve passenger safety. Police are investigating the incident.
