Another fatal lorry accident
-- PHOTO: AZIZ HUSSIN A lorry, which was ferrying construction workers, lies on its side after it collided with a car on the Pan-Island Expressway yesterday morning. One of the workers died and 12 others were injured, adding to the list of fatalities involving heavy vehicles. Eight of the men were sitting on the floor at the back of the lorry. The accident, which took place before the Simei Avenue exit heading towards Tuas, caused a major traffic jam when the two vehicles blocked all three lanes of the PIE until 8.40am.
